Speaker: Meg Prado, MD, MBA, FAAP
Dr. Prado has been with Envision Physician Services since 2001 and is currently the president of the Women’s & Children’s service line. Dr. Prado received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in General Pediatrics followed by a Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship at University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. Meg has been married for 25 years and has four beautiful children. She is honored and privileged to have the trust of parents when caring for their sick newborns.

Objectives:
- Describe the normal physiology of fetal circulation
- Discuss the importance of fetal shunts and normal placental function
- Summarize the normal transition to extrauterine adaptation
- Discuss aberrations that can hinder normal transition
- Discuss pulmonary hypertension, including diagnosis, causes and treatment
This course will qualify for one NICU Credit.
